The Army of Do-Gooders
There are many grassroots community based organizations and non-profits working towards the same goal of enriching the human experience through service. Our contribution will be to band together annually to conduct one project.

PASSION PEOPLE ONLINE BOOK CLUB
Passion People is your place to find curious people with common interests. Do you have a topic you’re passionate about? Come share your knowledge, books, and other resources.
The online book club meets quarterly for one hour to talk about our selected reading that includes the selected book along with other curated content like related Ted Talks, blog posts, videos, articles and the like. Don’t worry. This isn’t like school. I’ve been in discussion groups where If you don’t read the material the teacher will shame you. NOT HERE.
We provide a complete CHEAT SHEET prior to the book club session. The CHEAT SHEET shares the book summary along with key take-aways from the supplemental stuff. We’ve got you covered if you’re the one who just wants to take a quick 5 minute scan just before joining to catch yourself up or if you’re the one who will make notes in the margin and knows the answer to Ev-ree-thing. The fun happens when we’re all together. So JOIN the fun.
For the sake of consistency, we follow a standard format for each hour-long discussion (and, yes, we also allow for plenty of interaction and chatter. After all, we want to make plenty of room for your individual finesse to shine).
In each session we’ll have discussion questions and surveys to see in real time how your views align with others, and even a surprise guest from time to time will drop in to help shake things up with an unconventional spin.

I believe that giving back is a must when you’ve been blessed. Not out of any obligation, but as a act of gratitude. Let me dispel one urban myth. Philanthropy is not always about giving away millions of dollars to have a library in your name. That’s great if you can. But I believe that when each of us share in our blessings, the world is a better place.
A small gesture of kindness becomes a flood of blessings when we collectively give.
